An Awareness Workshop is a formal Leave No Trace presentation or activity that is one-day or shorter and will be facilitated by Heidi and Seb, Leave No Trace Master Educators with years of outdoor education and expedition leadership experience.
Workshops are fun and inspiring for participants. They can be delivered indoors or outdoors and utilise active and experiential teaching methods.
Leave No Trace Awareness workshops are appropriate for conferences and symposiums with a focus on current literature and encouraging wider discussion.
They are suitable for those engaging in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme as a fantastic compliment to your organisation's training scheme. By encouraging the development of your students environmental ethics you can improve their attitudes and behaviour within the environment whilst on expedition.
Awareness workshops make great troop nights for Scouts and Guides, or could even be delivered during district camps.
Those who have attended a Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop are eligible for an official certificate from the Leave No Trace Centre for Outdoor Ethics.
